Topic Description:

Sustainable fashion is a part of the growing design philosophy and movement towards environmental and social sustainability, the goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of human impact on the environment and social responsibility. The panel discussion will discuss the need for sustainability, steps and action plans required.

Topic Description:

AGOA has encouraged substantial new investments, trade, and job creation in Africa. It has helped to promote Sub-Saharan Africa's integration into the multilateral trading system and a more active role in global trade negotiations. It has also contributed to economic and commercial reforms which make African countries more attractive commercial partners for U.S. companies. With China being Africa's largest trading partner what impact will the recent  US/China trade war have on that and what opportunities may open up.
